pretty sure most people buy the 4er over the 2er because the number is higher. 90% of BMW owners arent in it for the driving dynamics, they just want the status. for them, 4 > 2. ive actually had multiple random people ask me if my car is an m3/m4 and i have a completely stock m235i with the exception of the MP front splitter.
