I no longer have those wheels. But, there was 1-2mm between the tire and the strut.
I now have 8.5 ET40 wheels with the same tires and there is ~1mm between the tire and the strut. |
Wow that's a bit too close. So guess I will have to stay 225/40 😞. Can you do me a favour and post some pictures to show how much tyre overlaps the wheel rim? A measurement too would be awesome. Also do your tyres have a rim protector?
