I’d be interested if it could actually fit wider tires. It sucks to see a knockoff could run you several thousand dollars for the kit, install, and paint...but the most realistic alternatives would be the m235iR kit or a full custom job like the iND Blue Ice showcar, and those would both cost well north of $10k.
What this car really needs is a kit like the Evolution Racewerks 135i - keep the factory styling while adding room for some seriously meaty tires in an affordable FRP and without any cutting. The biggest downside of this platform to me is that most modders will struggle to get more tire than 235F/255R without extensive modification. Ponycar guys can easily fit 275F/315R...even before fender rolls, big camber, etc that we put up with to make it work.
