If you go with Race Ramps version - Flatstoppers - you do not need to inflate your tires to max. I spoke with them at length one day, for their product at least there's no benefit to doing so. Maybe not a big deal for you being gone for 6 mos, matters more in my case I swap my cars back and forth (one in storage) for a month at a time.
