If you REALLY want it, I would say his dealership in Seattle got it covered by BMWNA, so they can, too. If need be, they can call that dealer and find out how. It's not your job to do that. If they refuse, let them know you'll be taking your business to a dealer that wants to help you take care of your investment.

I, however, am in a lease and BMWNA told me it's not available.

They also told me I couldn't rewind/fast forward on my stereo, which isn't true, they also sold H/K stereos advertised as higher quality equipment than it was, they also said hands-free trunk opening was in the premium package, which it's not. I'm over their shenanigans and won't be buying a first year model vehicle from BMW ever again.
