Yes, but it's the third thing I would do. The first is to disconnect the centre channel speaker, the second is to code out or bypass ASD, then do the rear speakers. That's about 75% of the improvement in sound available to you short of an amp replacement.

sorry, forgot to mention i have already disconnected the centre speaker and have the ASD bypass harness fitted.
