ES buyers are primarily on the older end of the spectrum and aren't looking for a tech filled automobile. They want reliability and a cushy ride. My gf's mom is on her 4th ES and they've all followed the same formula so why change it?

Agree with this. The only thing an ES needs to be able to haul, aside from the driver and the passenger are oxygen tanks, golf clubs and groceries.
