Hello everyone!
First post here, just wanted to thank for this post which gave me the confidence to start disassembling my four month old car and change my piano black to carbon fibre look.
Piano is nice, but impractical for the dust attraction and very distracting reflections.
I was quoted an eye-watering high price for a professional wrap of my interior, and decided to go with DIY instead. I have only wrapped some simple foglights before, so the centerconsole seemed daunting, but turned out to be easy enough. The big secret is to use the expensive wrap/film (3M 1080) and having a good, adjustable heat gun.
Added a few pictures...not finished yet. Radio surround, door handles and probably door mirrors will get the same treatment. (White car)
