I have early 2018 m240i with MPE. The main reason making me tends towards keeping the car. It pops bangs and crackles in Sport or Sport+ automatic. In manual the sweet spot is RPM between 2500 and 3000 to change gear in Sport or Sport+. Long pulling of the paddle whilst stopping leads to pops and crackles
However I am not sure MPE is available to be installed on OPF cars
