removing the resonator makes a noticeable difference, although I'm not sure how much of one with the mpe...the main difference with mine was a louder cold start and a more significant 'crack' when upshifting...can't wait to change the muffler though
my cold start is quite loud too, but only with a M135 oem exhaust (don't think it's going to be setting off alarms anytime soon), everything after that is weak
