Granted, I got the warranty when I purchased the car.
But I got a 3rd party warranty through my credit union,3 year - 125k miles bumper to bumper
which includes keyfob protections, rental reimbursement, paintless dent removal, luxury electronics, and all sorts of goodies for $2300.
The closest equivalent from the BMW Dealer would have ran over $5000 - and would have still been 3rd party. The BMW dealer encouraged me to go with my credit unions plan, so that's what I did.
They had all the way up to 5 year - 125k miles, but driving 2,000 miles a month alone for work didnt justify the extra cost for the 2 years. (~3200)
