You can fit 245/35s up front with no clearance issues with the strut or wheel liners. I'm running Alutec Drive 18X8et43 and with a square 245/35R18 MP4S tire setup. The increased grip of having nearly a 1" wider front foot print compared to the 225/40R18 is pretty significant. Also, the front shoulder wear that was common to the 225/40R18 is long gone.
Is this with lowering??

I'm on 18x8.5et42 w 235/40 PS4S and rub the front bumper and lining lol (not fender after a roll).... I'm gonna do 235/35 PS4S next time but the LCA+ts really screwed the fitment goals. Also i have a 0.5" Dinan drop front.

I guess the 8" wheel makes a huge difference...
The tire shape/ compound makes a difference. I am square now with 235s on all 4 corners which did make a difference. However I also am running Hankook R-S4s. When I ran MPSS 245s on all 4 corners I still had significant wear issues. (Corded a front tire)
