After driving my 335is coupe, my gf is about to place an order on a 218 coupe, automatic, mineral gray, sports seats and sun roof. That's about what the budget allows. But which engine? 1.5l 3-cyl 218i or 2,0l 4-cyl 220d?

The diesel is actually over the budget, but may be the better option, if we decide for a mild tuning in the future... She doesn't do a lot of miles, so milage is fairly irrelevant
