Just went to Mammoth last weekend. Unbelievable conditions & it wasn't crowded either. Can't believe how much dumped there already.
Big Bear is overpriced and too crowded for a small mountain (compared to Mammoth). Too many noobs camping all over the mountain trails. I feel your pain about bringing your board.
