txs Bigworm, yes that's on my plan of things to do,

using my dash cam in parking mode with a battery, charged from the battery
celltek or similar

I would get the garmin mini dash camera. And plug it into a USB charging power block when you park in public. That way you dont have to worry about a dead car battery and it will record all night. I dont usually keep the power block with me. But I will grab it on my way out if I know I will be parked somewhere long. I had bad experince with blackvue DR900 and its 24/7 power. It killed my battery a few times. So now I use stand alone USB power banks.
