You don't need to do anything special if you have a cooler. If you follow the procedure, you will be fine.
I have seen people who after doing a service were able to get a little more fluid in the trans later but it was mostly because they didn't get it right the first time. It has to be bought up to temp and the correct procedure needs to be followed in order to get the new oil pumped everywhere it needs to be in order to get enough fluid in the trans.
