I had a code reading boost pressure too high. Thought it was a faulty tuner initially but ended up being a sign of a failing charge pipe. Shortly after that my charge pipe blew. Found out on some 3 series forums other people got same check engine code before their charge pipe blew. So could be worth looking into if you haven't already replaced yours with an aftermarket one.
