I still don't regret getting an RWD instead of an AWD though. The ~400hp '79 Buick I owned as a teenager was terrifying just on wet pavement. A modern RWD BMW is just mildly alarming by comparison.

Nothing like awd when bouncing around in the snow, but your right, for regular driving not issues with rwd. Yup, my Impala '81 had me leave a brown trace every once in a while as we headed to the the ski hills and had to turn back home because of the snow.
