Have a reputable garage scope this out. I suspect if you truly had a blown head gasket, you would also see sweet smelling lovely white smoke coming out of your tailpipe(s) and your coolant level would be slowly dropping. This would be highly irregular on the N55 and a BMW in general. Good Luck.
