In regards to the start/stop feature.. The start motor will take a beating long term for sure, that's all I can think of, though.. I don't use it for that reason alone (because long term ownership). I also live in an area that's pretty sparse, and can't remember the last time we had stop and go traffic. That would be the case where I could see an added benefit, or even a really bad construction delay. I just kick it "old school" and pop it into neutral and release the pedal.
