I 'm seeing a bunch of interest in QuickJack. If you buy one, use 2x6s to fill the cavities in the lift platform and it becomes so much easier to use. (Especially on a BMW with the integral jacking blocks under it) Our car can be lifted to max height in about one minute after the engine is shut off.
