Most good piggybacks tap into multiple parameters in the ECU to adjust the mappings. For instance, my JB4 does.

To avoid confusion, you have a JB4
A JB does not clear CEL only the JB4
Dinan does not clear CEL either
Catted DP might throw CEL .. The higher the quality of the DP the less likely to throw a code but no one will give you 100% guarantee as in your money back if it does throw CEL)
