I called another dealer, they quoted something like $220-250 for tranny and $190 for diff.
Thing is I dont really trust the dealers, I've heard many stories of oil changes that were not even done and yet they charge top dollars. And at the same time I dont want to void the warranty on those 2 parts if something goes wrong and then they gonna blame me for changing oil
. Local BMW mechanic quoted $250 for both + fluids, others can probably do it cheaper. For $100 bucks Honda tech done engine, tranny, diff, clutch, brake fluids, and accessory belt on my S2k
everything took him like an hour max. I bet its the same 1 hour on all cars if you know what you are doing....
