Agree with op the F30 steering is atrocious although recent model years have gotten better. I think the suspension in non-sport models is so floaty it magnifies the light and twitchy steering response. Had my loaner swapped out for a 428i sport model and it's actually not nearly as sucky but it gets twitchy in sport+ though. Still glad I got an E90 in '12 instead of getting on the list for an F30.
