Yeah, where you bought the car makes no difference to anything whatsoever. And I dealt with the Germans (many dealerships) when I was over there. There are no different recalls on your car over there. They are talking about the HPFP recall. And every time I tried to talk to them about recalls/etc. they just gave me a blank stare. They're much worse over there at the dealers about knowing anything that's going on.
If the dealer you are going to right now doesn't know about this recall, tell them how stupid they are for not knowing about it and go to another dealer.
If you're saying that BMW is giving you problems with this, then this is out of control.
