It's a good thing that it was racing spec; the roll cage is the only thing keeping that roof from being flat!

Ouch. Did it jump the barrier and go into the trees?

What a shame. Hopefully it wasn't some sort of equipment fault.

There's a saying that anyone who's ever raced cars or motorcycles, or follows racing, has heard: "That's racing".

Too bad about the injuries, hopefully driver will recover soon. Considering the crash looks like he came out pretty good, I'd say.

The cars will get fixed and raced and crash again, that's what they're built for...

Sadly, I do not think that will buff out. Hoping the driver makes a speedy recovery...

Nothing special but here are a couple of my pics from the race. The M235 looks really good in its racing colors and it was cool to see them mix it up with all sorts of other cars. One thing that stood out is how quite it is compared to the other cars, it really doesn't sound like it belongs on the track.

Are these 2 separate crashes? The first video looks like the car jumped the barricade by the trees and needed to be lifted over the barricade to be put on the flatbed. The next video shows the M235i on the inside of the barricade.
