Nice audio of the engine notes and good shots of Estoril Blue in motion.

All this hype and emotional buildup by auto journalists kind of worries me.

Ya, it sounds like he's taking a dump, jizzing in his pants, or has never driven a sports car before. So, it's somewhat hard to take what he says seriously, plus, I was always taught to never trust a guy who wears red pants.

No, almost every single one in every video I've watched has pointed out that it doesn't, but guess this guy didn't discuss it. I assume they're all given essentially the same exact estoril blue one, or an identically equipped one. I haven't seen or heard a review of an M235i that actually had it installed.

Good review though..

Don't worry this car is genuinely extremely fun to drive. I like the fact that this guys is not all wound up about the fact it has ///M badges all over it. To me the badges don't mean anything positive or negative. The whole M controversy is totally superficial in my opinion. All that matters to me is how good of a car it is and this car is very good.

Only thing i worry about it is reviewers wowing every single car. This is like getting in a 135i and saying WOWOWOWOWOWOW!

Ok, but what did they say that was unrealistic or unwarranted?

Fun hearing that engine roar. But such a stupid review and those stupid moans! And he says at 35K pounds, you can't get another car that will put a bigger smile on your face every time you go around a corner. Well, I'm not sure I agree with that. For a lower price, I think the new Subaru WRX and the new Golf GTI or Golf R will do just the same.

This is funny, on the 2 addicts forum people are complaining that there is too much hype and positive reviews (go figure?). On the F80/F82 forum they are worried that there aren't a bunch media reviews hyping that car. It just goes to show most people that participate on these forums are just looking for something negative to discuss.

Yeah just like that you're right! God forbid that the reviewers that tested this car on the European launch thinks it fantastic. Thats so bad I'd be really worried if I were you.

Well that's because the new M3/M4's engine is turbocharged.
When the news came out couple years ago, it just killed 1/3 of the hype.
I don't think I ever was excited as much as when BMW first announced they were going to put the NA V8 in the E9x series.

I've been an M fan since I was a kindergarten and I believe this is the first time I ever got not excited (maybe that's just me)

I sat in one today. It's a great car for someone under 30-35. No doubt's its between the E36 and E46 coupe.
