Some EB M235i pics from my ED

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Straight from Germany sorry in advance as it's from my iphone. I'm still on vacation now. Heading to France and left my USB converter at home so I can't download any pics till I get back home.

When I went to Hitler's Eagle Nest found a Z4M vert so decided to take a shot. I do miss my Z4 si coupe and the handling and characteristic of the new car is so different from my old Z4. Biggest difference I noticed is the steering. I must admit I prefer the old steering vs the new EPS. But I am totally in love with the M235i and so happy with my decision to buy it.
I'm also very happy with the exterior and interior color choice. But it does need a tint.

Now the 10 week wait for PCD.

Very nice. We just came back from our ED last week. Couldn't do Eagle's Nest because it was raining and very foggy.

Thanks! You could always do ED next time. It's such an incredible experience that I'll be doing it again in 3 years when my lease is up.

In Austria we stayed in Salzburg, went to the fortress and did a day trip to Hallstatt. The drive to Hallstatt was amazing and the town was beautiful. We did see the castles in Fussen. I suppose there is always next time. I heard about Eagle's Nest the last time i went so we planned it for this time. Unfortunately it was raining. My lady friend wants to do ED for an M2 in 1.5 years so maybe then .

I'll create a thread about my trip soon. I used up 2 x 32gb cards for pictures and video so it'll take a while. Lol

How long were you there for?

Next time you're in Salzburg check out the airport if you're an aviation buff. The Red Bull founder has his collection there in am amazing massive steel and glass hangar that is open to the public.

The car looks great, congrats. I've never liked the blue as I'm on the conservative side (white and black) but the more I see it the more I like it. I think it's an option next time. I guess you Estoril guys knew what you were talking about.

I picked my EB up on the 7th, saw the same car as yours in the hilton garage, might have even been yours. Looks great and enjoy the trip, I know I'm having a blast after the break in! Accidentally discovered Luxembourg and how amazing some of those roads are, worth making a trip to Schengen for some "undiscovered" tarmac.

Just got back home from Paris. You will absolutely love Eagle nest. I hope the weather is better next time around so you can experience it. And with an M2 ED it can't get much better than that.
I am also planning an M2 ED in 3 years just before my lease is up. Hopefully there is a pull ahead I can take advantage of

I will def do that thanks for the suggestion. Too bad I didn't know of it at the time. My next ED will be planned out much better and since this was my first time in Germany I really didn't know where to go.
Thanks for the comments on the color. Before I bought my last car I really tried to get it with the superman combo but could not find it and settled for Blue and black. Very happy I got to build it exactly the way I wanted it.

Oh yes that was me. I even parked along side you one night and took some shots. Our license plate was only one digit off. Too bad we could not drive together Wolfgang Voss, my delivery specialist, programmed some curvy roads that my girl friend and I drove on and had a lot of fun.
Nice ride! I will post the pic I took of both our cars when I get a chance. I literally just got back from the airport.

Yep, looking at your car, the red leather looks way better than I thought it would, and that would have been the one thing I'd change on my build. Just got back today, and I think I'd love to do this again. Put 2000 miles, along with a small accident at the end in Italy, but the car is a fantastic.

Car looks great! I'm impressed with how many miles you've put on it. From the looks of it you had a blast.

Shame I didn't get a chance to catch you at any point.

I'm also surprised at how many complements/looks I got for a lowly 2 series in Germany. That EB definitely makes the car pop in a see of grey/black, debaged mercs and bimmers.
