2020 240i manual to order ??
Any advice on pricing or % off for a 2020? I'm seeing mostly just 7% off average plus rebates (for me it would be $2000 + $750 loyalty)
Manager said if I ordered they would lock in, and if the rebates went up I'd get those. I would order a more basic (non nav. or premium etc) just leather. Love the M package but want the blacked out wheels on white or gray. Comes out to about 13% off. So sticker almost $48K, and would be $42k to order. (also hearing some regions have $2K finance rebate AND $2K dealer rebate...but can't find info or where online) Thx |

Small world - yes, Midlothian BMW - I dealt directly w Aaron Mason, new car manager - great guy. Very easy process and I absolutely love the car.
Good luck and keep us posted w your order. The 2's look so good in EB - but white is just so darn easy to keep clean and looks sharp w black wheels, black grille, and black mirror caps....... |

Here's what I did when I was pricing out my 2018 M240i. I created word doc that stated all of the options I wanted (6 speed manual, no moonroof, HK, leather, Michelin PSS, paint, etc.). It then stated that I was looking for the out the door price. The out the door price needed to include the car (doh!), taxe (4.?% in VA), registration and state inspection. I also noted that this would a cash deal-I would pay with a cashier's check. I then sent an email to 4 dealers in my area:
- Alexandria - Fairfax - Sterling - a Maryland dealer. The Alexandria dealer came back with the best price of $48,500. I ordered that car. The only issue was that the car has the fxxxxxxxxg moonroof. The dealer credited my credit card with $500. The sales manager called BMW NA and reamed them out for the crappy ordering system. |

Nice, yea have called a few. Have ANY idea about how much off sticker that was ? I've heard 7%, which is ok, like to get 10% plus rebates, which app. they will lock in.
Also why didn't you want roof ? just curious. |

2020 240i manual to order ??
I do not have an LSD......and I just hit 1300 miles - so I'm just now beginning to open her up. I would say yes, there are issues without the LSD getting all the power down; so, the short answer would be yes, the LSD would be worth it, and definitely a mod I will do in the near future.

The incentives change with time of year etc. but it doesn't hurt to now how much extra are getting off you. for reference: I usually approach them at the end of the month (my preferred time is Nov or Dec). I got 15% off my wife's 230i and it was ordered hence not something they wanted off the lot. 0.9% financing. i.e. broadly, i use this formula below. BMW US Invoice Pricing calculation Base vehicle US Delivery MSRP (from current model year pricing sheets) multiplied by 0.93 + MACO fee $500.00 (flat rate applied to all dealers) = Base vehicle US BMW invoice price To figure the invoice price of your BMW as configured add - + Option and packages (anything you can add to the vehicle) multiplied by 0.92 + Training fee of $180.00 + Destination and handling charge - Currently $995 = Total vehicle invoice price +/- $10.00 |

I have a few dealerships going 10% off + rebates ($2,750) for an order, about the best i can do. (not many want to touch dealer incentives or much hold back) Got WAY more off on a 2019, helluva deal, but it was a black AT, and decided to order manual. Be around $45K out the door.
Hoping local dealer can do it. and meant ordering gray blacked out ! |

M240i Custom Order Data Point
Not manual transmission but for a potential M240i custom order right now I'm sitting at a $2,500 discount (4.9% of MSRP as spec'd on my build) plus a rebate of $2,000 but that's not a big deal since it's a BMW NA thing that doesn't impact the dealer's bottom line at all.

So Virginia dealership doesn't have LSD as port option (dealer only)
And it makes sense, but I could have sworn folks ordered HK upgrade w/o Premium package (may have been mistaken) But can't now...ugghhh stock radio is horrible. All the bumbs and adds, may have to look used, not sure I can get it down enough (may drop leather) |
