All of the above....changes daily for me. I am a very practical person, so the M2 becomes an extravagance in my mind, not a necessity, so that screws with me a bit depending the day. I still feel like a school girl some days.....nervous when I go out. It is way faster than anything I need, and I love speed, so I really gotta watch myself, very easy to be going ludicrous speed before you know it. I sometimes just go into the garage and stare at it wondering if it will be a true love over time.

It's still a love/hate relationship for me. Some days I'm happy with it and others I'm indifferent.

Lol. I felt SO many eyes on me that day. Worst place ever to be driving through- had to be thousands of people standing around those venues.

I get used already to the crazy crackles and pops, but still gets thrilled every time revving it up and listening to the noise of instant rpm change in upshift at above 5k on the fly. That's where MPE and high flow cat really shine. You can forget burble when you get that.

i really miss a manual transmission and cheap tires for the track on my old mini. but that engine, the exhaust note, and those hips! <3 i appreciate the m2 even more as im on week 2/3 of a business trip and driving the worst rental car ever. |

1. The car really opens up the more I drive it . I hit 5k Mi the other day and I would say that I believe the exhaust is 15% louder than when I first thought it was "loud" . And the pops and cackles and gurgles are even more aggressive as well over time . Overall I think the design is timeless as well. Nothing else looks like it, and people immediately know to get out the way when they look in the rear view
