WOW Better promo video than BMW puts out!! Thank you Joe so torn am I between this and the M2- they are the same but very different, pricing is close to the same M240 can get in 2-3 months M2 MAYBE 8 months. Great video and I too love those seats. Either one I get will have the Alcantara steering wheel as my hands "stick" on the BMW leather ones- my 435 GC my hands stick so much its annoying- getting the alcantara for that one too. The only problem that I would have with the seats is that you rub on the side bolster when getting in and that Fs up the fabric
- they need leather "pads" on each side then you wont disturb the beautiful alcantara.

I am not a red car fan but to me the 2er looks the BEST in Red (with the right wheels of course) but if I go M240 it would be rojo with brown interior (Mineral Gray always looks good but I have an MG 435 and would change it up with the red.

Great review, thanks Dackel. Great car, the review I saw of the 340i was glowing too.... sure seems like it's a great engine!

Oooh... first time I see that shift indicator, that is, the thing that goes "5 > 6" when it's telling you, I guess, either "okay good to shift up" or "about to shift up if you keep going".

Now if someone could find out that that's been in the sw for a long time and we could just enable it in old M235i's... hmmm...

Are you basing your car buying decision on color availability? The 240i is a great car I'm sure but, I'd still take the M2 even if it came with babypuke green as it's only color option.

That's standard for EU specs. Even the e8x cars had it. You just need to code it "on". Don't ask me how... bc I am no coder. But I think it can be done.

I ask once again. Is that an AT or DCT. The shifter looks more like DCT. In US DCT is not available.

AT. Eight speed ZF automatic with a torque convertor.

DCT(DKG) trans are only offered on the M2/M3/M4/M5/M6 models.

I love my oyster interior I have, but they are a labor of love. I would gladly trade them in for those seats. Especially with the Estoril Blue exterior!
