I like the lighter 436M's offered on the 240. Nice, generous color options for the 230.

Are these 436Ms any different than the wheels offered on the 235?

Looks like we now also have a wireless charging and wifi hotspot option, which is pretty cool.

Will be part of the Wireless charging and Wi-Fi hotspot option I would expect.

Here in the UK that option is called "enhanced bluetooth with wireless charging" and it only comes with the Wi-Fi hotspot (which is listed separately but comes "as a part of a package").

Those standard 17" wheels on the 228 are really, really sharp.

BMW Ultimate Care

I was told by the dealer that 2017 models were going to be 3 -years / 40K miles... The site is currently showing:

4-year/50,000-mile New Vehicle Limited Warranty for Passenger Cars and Light Trucks 2017 Models (valid only in the USA including Puerto Rico)

That was one of the things I am considering when looking for either a '16 M235i xdrive or the 2017 model.

The maintenance plan is changing...shorter term and no more brakes.

Shh don't bring attention to it until I've signed! I feel like it's an oversight

Do yourself a favor. Take a screen shot of the page and save it. It may come in handy should you look to push the issue with BMW NA.

I wouldn't sleep at night knowing I paid close to the same amount of money for M240i as M2. Add M Performance LSD to M240i and it will cost more then M2 lol
