Seeing videos like this makes me enjoy my M235i even more than I already do, and my car's engine hasn't even been touched yet.
Nice video!

Wow. Sure gives you more than an M2. It will be interesting how much it costs.

For clarification purposes since no official pricing has been released on the N55 big turbo as of yet we are aiming for a ~5k package that would be comprised of the larger turbo, stage 4 DINANTRONICS, and the dual core intercooler. Those would be the 3 main components to the big turbo stage. Of course adding the exhaust and intake would yield some further gains (the complete package with intake and exhaust yielding 445 HP / 455 TRQ) but those base 3 components would be the bulk of the gains.

Watched this last night looks pretty legit as far as the turbo setup , wouldn't get the whole package as far as suspension goes but definitely interested in the turbo /tuning not that it matters but some warantee coverage from them would sway me to them instead of some other n55 turbo upgraders

I'd like to see their turbo next to pure stage 2

I dont see why not its the same setup. I'm also wondering if this is something in line with a pure stage 1 turbo or stage 2. Its nice now having different comparisons.

Let us know when you have a similar package for the N20... I'd be all over this.

Nice sound nice ride etcetera. And prolly the bumpers on the M235 are better looking than the ones on the M2 but it's about the whole package (exteriorwise as well) ...this Dinan M235i although lowered and with great looking rims doesn't strikte me with its body appearance.
Thanks for the video, great car nontheless. Cheers Robin |

No definitive date but in the not so distant future. We are working with our turbo vendor on supply and logistics along with a temporary core program since some of the turbo variants are a bit more difficult to come by.
Yes. Our 435i with the big turbo setup is currently being tuned. Mechanical wastegate 335i has also been done recently along with our mechanical wastegate 328 (N20). The electronic wastegate version of the N20 is also next on the plate followed directly by our M4 which will get similar treatment. Dinan always quotes number at the crank just like the factory. Also keep in mind our numbers are based on 93 octane fuel and stock cats. Our setup will keep the same Dinan warranty (matching 4yr/50k new car warranty) and is intended to be 50 state emissions legal (currently in CARB's court). You could potentially get quite a bit more power by using race gas and eliminating CAT's. While we wont be messing with CAT removal (for emissions reasons) we do intend to release one last stage/map that will be geared specifically for 100 octane and the big turbo setup once the car gets back from its current press run down south. Closer in comparison to a stage 1 turbo. |

You might need your eyes checked man. Not only does the m2 look better, the N55/S55 hybrid engine it has has a lot more room for mods. Ive lost all respect for dinan considering steve has a video criticizing piggybacks then releases his own piggyback months later. Dinan is no longer worth the money. My buddy's m4 has gone into limp mode numerous times with the dinan s2 tune. He's on the jb4 and hasnt had an issue yet.
