M2 seats - How much can you sell them for?
Yes yes, enough about the seats already.
Let's say I wanted to install the M performance seats. What you reckon the factory seats are worth? They can be put into any 1 or 2 series right? |

I think you will have a very hard time selling the stock seats.
How many people are replacing their base 1/2 series seats? Likely very few. Of those people, who would pay for stock sport seats with blue stitching over an aftermarket solution...even fewer. |

What the fuck is with the stupid questions on here lately??? I swear to God people are loosing common sense.
1. Go ask your local BMW dealership how much sport leather seats cost. 2. Add some M tax. 3. Cry in a corner because M Performance seats do not exist. 4. Find E8x/9x Performance seats for a small fortune. 5. Spend hours trying to code out the christmas tree lights and figure out how to plug them in. 6. Profit???

How much do you think the mirrors will sell for on the secondary market? It appears they are body color matching, will have significant value for M235i drivers who want to replace the silver stock mirrors with ///M2 mirrors.

1. You are not sure if they fit into F2x 1 & 2 Series. Why? I am sure you've seen people crying how the seats are not good enough for the car as they are the same M Sport seats that you can get a in a 118d. I repeat, they are the same. They just have special stitching. 2. I am sure you have Google in UK so you can look up the prices of M Sport F2x seats or you can ask your local BMW dealer.

How about actually getting the car first before you part out the seats? By that time the worth of the seats will probably be out as well.

M3 seats vs M4 coupe seats
M2 has the same sport seats as any other f2x series cars.
Regarding the swap, i am focusing at this moment only for the frames. This is the front seat frame for the M4 coupe: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/show...diagId=52_4034 And any other f2x series has the same frame: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/part...&q=52107285857 From that point, they are interchangeable. (of course OP should take care of seat heating, seat memory, lumbart support, coding out christmas tree etc). |
