GROUP BUY-pg.6 M235i 400R+ Enzo Performance

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Good news to all N55 owners.

We're very excited to wrap development on the 400R+ package for the N55 platform. The Enzo Performance 400R+ (modestly speaking) consists of a CUSTOM dyno developed tune by Enzo himself in house. This is not a piggy pack system or third party bench flash. Along with an Enzo High-Flow downpipe devleoped and fabriacted in house.

Enzo has been tuning vehicles for almost 20 years and knows a thing or two about forced induction engines. Enzo was able to squeeze a staggering 118 ft/lbs of wheel torque and 80 wheel hp by optimizing numerous engine parameters and still maintaining vehicle reliability. As mentioned before there is no additional hardware or piggy backs needed to confuse the ECU. Enzo's dyno of choice is a Mainline dynamometer, therefore numbers tend to be considerably lower than other dynamometers. Customers have been blown away by the performance and smooth drivability, seeing their excitement gives us the confidence you too will be thrilled with the added performance.

Each Enzo 400R+ Performance package includes

-EnzoTuned ECU Calibration (Fully customizable)
-Enzo Performance High-Flow downpipe, developed and fabricated in house
-BMC air filter
-12k/ 1-year limited mile warranty
-Full customer support
-Original file is saved
-Undetectable
-If vehicle is local we will include Labor!!

I have almost 5000 miles on this tune and absolutely love it! No issues whatsoever and car pulls like an absolute beast!!! By far the best money I've spent on the car so far! I've tested 3 of the popular piggybacks and this ecu tune blows them all out of the water!

1.How is tune achieved ? we send you our ecu ?
what actually is done to the ecu ? reprogrammed ?

2.what is the "limited" warranty ?

3.If local has labor included, would cost less for non local ?

4. is downpipe provided catless or catted ?

5. Your website shows $1495 for the tune, with lower hp & torque numbers, is this because no downpipe is included in THAT tune ?
(is the tune available without the downpipe at all )

Are you capable of tuning to allow use of e85 via a Flexfuel sensor?

One of my favorite parts of my jb4 is it's abillity to allow on the fly change to accomodate e85 blends.

Also integrating methanol injection?

Hello Turbo N55,

1. Yes, your ECU will need to be shipped to us. Your intake manifold needs to be removed to gain access. Where are you located?

2. We say limited warranty because we stand by our tune, any additional bolt-on accessories or modifications done post tune can influence drivability.

3. We cover overnight shipping for non-local.

4. Catless downpipes at the moment. We offer CAT delete in our tune.

5. The downpipe along with the tune does bump up power quite a bit.
of course we do offer just a tune without the downpipe.

Could you please post or PM detailed instructions on how to remove the ECU to ship to you? How many hours of shop labour is needed to do this? How about installing the downpipe and intake?

1. Whats actually done to our ecu, and how does the dealership "not" detect it ?

2. Also, what parameters are changed in your tune ?

3. Is the tune you provide, a "set" tune, meaning we cannot change it at all ? Is there a way to do anything, as in, turn the tune off ? Or minimize power ? If valet car etc ?

I was running the Manhart until I got the Enzo tune back in June.

While the Manhart was the best piggyback I had tested, the ecu tune is just a whole different level.

Turbo, they are essentially overwriting the factory ecu software with their custom tune and therefor there are no settings you can adjust.

Hello JibHonk,

Great question, we have seen best results with 5 gallons to a full tank of E85.

Thank you Luminous. That is correct, our custom software is written directly to the ECU. We keep the original file for all vehicle in case of reverting back to stock.

After the tune is installed, is there a way to turn tune OFF ?

Also, Enzo, can you provide a real world video of the Enzo tuned M235i driving, from tach/speedo view ?

Enzo M235i custom tune feedback

The pictured dyno results are from my car, the first 3 pics posted of white M235i. Luminous sold me on the Enzo tune and I drove up to LI from Philly to get the tune done. The shop is impressive and Enzo, Renato and Chris were great to work with. I cannot overstate in any way the transformation Enzo has made to this car. What was a fantastic stock car has become a complete beast, while still not being too rough around the edges. Tons of linear torque throughout the power bands. Without question worth every penny spent and quite honestly nothing I have used in the past (Cobb stage2+ and JB4) comes close. I basically transformed my M235i to an M2 for short money and no waiting. I've put a thousand miles down so far and I will continue to post my experience as the miles mount.

any real world videos ?

not too sound rude, but how hard is it to post a video of the car in action, vs a dyno video ?

This is a video I made a few weeks ago of a 0-60 run in 4.03s. So far my record is 3.95s on a cool summer night. Expecting around 3.75 once temps start dropping. Car is fbo with Enzo tune.

Enzotuned xdrive m235i here as well had the guys remove my jb4 at the same time of getting my h&r springs with spacers put on. Their mechanic was absolutely great, had a pure interest of the car and was so careful with everything he touched. Even walked me through a lot of what he was doing to keep me informed on the process. I have an er castles dp and m perf exhaust also and let me tell you, post Enzo tune the car is an absolute monster. The torque curve compared to the jb4 is so much more smooth and keeps pulling all the way through redline from much earlier on. My dyno numbers did read a bit lower compared to what the posted graph shows so I am curious if you guys at Enzo had any e85 in the tank at the time of this reading?? Any updates/tweaks to your tune since I have been in there? (Brandon H. here) Numbers aside the performance yielded was worth every penny and I highly recommend the tune as well as the shop in general
