my new m235xi. updated review and MORE pics

Hi everybody,

First of all, sorry for my english I used to speak french.
I had the chance to own a couple of (pretty good cars) : Golf R, S4 B8 tuned, Z4 M coupe, Audi TTS tuned....

Actually I was more a Audi guy because I live in Canada with 6 months of snow.

I decided to try a m235xi... just to see.... What can I say now ?

Totally, but TOTALLY in love. This car is for me a master piece.

The N55 is a piece of art. The balance of the car in better than every model I drove, the driving position is just perfect.

I choose a totally base model with a few M perf goodies:

Front splitter , exhaust, rear diffuser, rocker panel and interior carbon trims / alcantara

RW carbon spoiler and mirror caps are ordered.

The auto trans is smooth , freakin fast, a perfect in sport mode as well as in eco mode. I dont regret the manual trans one second.

The steering is so communicative and the 'road touching' unique. It destroys the S3 I test before in every aspect and which was initially the first on my list.

I am in the break in period so remain below 4000rpm. The car is so smooth and powerful that I hesitate to throw the JB4 I have ordered to avoid losing in drivability.

Concerning the exhaust this the best of both world. A beast in sport mode when revving wihile absolutely NO DRONE nor high level sound when driving normally on highway .

You would find me a lit bit too optimistic but once again, I drove many cars and couldn't be happier to have such a daily car even for the winter.

UPDATE:

I ended up the break-in period, what can I say.... the car is a beast in every aspect. I have in hand my JB4... next thing to do... Handling is insane and stock power is awesome.
I LOVE the MPE exhaust. best of both world. Scream when you pull, zero else.

RW carbon are pretty solid... exactly like OEM for $$$$$ less.....

The only little complain i can have is that the OEM sound system is a bit weak...

So next step... jb4 and maybe tainted windows...

Enjoy the pics... hope it could help someone to choose some mods.

Very nice! Congrats. Nice review and great car choice. The M Performance add-ons are all great. The exhaust has a great note, but like you said, does not drone and is not obnoxious in the least. I got most of the same M Performance accessories as you, except for the front splitter. Please post pictures from the front and also the interior.

How would you compare it to the others you've had as far as handling and what would you change ?

Up front, I'll tell you I'm just not a fan of white cars in general. That said, your trim enhancements look very nice. My neighbor has the EB with that M performance trim, but in my opinion, it looks best with white vehicles. Anyway, enjoy.

Beautiful car! Congrats. Are the interior CF parts add-ons or were they ordered when you placed your order for the car?
