Best Mod Yet - Painted Rear Reflectors

I was considering painting my diffuser body color and decided to try the IND rear reflectors in the same grey as the stock diffuser. Wow, what a difference and much easier and cheaper than painting the whole thing.

Getting rid of the straight line totally changes the look in my view. This mod changes the thing I liked least about the car's looks to something completely acceptable. Only downside was destroying the red reflectors in the process of pulling them out.

There's a DIY in the Cosmetics section. What do you guys think?

That does look really good. I have the front deletes and couldn't push myself to order the rear. Maybe I will now.

Pair them with the carbon spoiler and I bet it looks amazing.

Also, it seems that there are a TON of 2 owners in Florida.

Glad you guys like it.

I haven't seen many yet in Miami but mid state there may be more.

Ska////, I saw you were also considering Plastidipping. The rears are a pain to remove so it may not be worth it. I did dip my grille but have some peeling already.

That does sound easier.

I may de-badge the sides. Any advice, or just check the threads.

You can always use something like this too to tint them....
Should accomplish the same thing for around $9

Leave car out in the sun for an hour, use fishing line to cut thru the adhesive, then remove any sticky stuff with your fingers...its very simple

Bman, yours looks really nice. I was intending to go that route but am trying to keep costs lower as it's a short lease. With the body colored diffuser the red reflectors look OK, IMO. The photoshop is nice too; you can't go wrong.

Yea if your doing a lease tough to spend a lot of extra money for something your not keeping. This was apart of my deal when I bought the car. So didn't cost me extra.

Just ordered mine from IND thanks for the info guys had no idea the install was easy. Had a hell of a time deciding between mineral grey and diffuser grey, as if it really matters much. Went diffuser grey. Thoughts on the choice?

BEM-S4, just be careful and be sure to tape around the reflector when removing (per the video) unless you're going to try and push them out from under the bumper. I tried but couldn't get them out from underneath and broke both of the red ones when prying them out.
