BMW DriftMob with M235i Coupes (Behind the Scenes)

Should be fun to see the final videos these lunatics come up with. They really had to mod these cars to remove the electronic watchdogs from preventing spin.

The five drivers are all from the world of drifting and stung driving -- Rhys Millen, Samuel Hübinette, Dai Yoshihara, Rich Rutherford and Conrad Grunewald.

I do lots of drifting too. But last one in the row is the most difficult.

You see that the last 2 have difficulty s to put nice drifts. That s because you need to concentrate on you're drifting and also keep 4 cars in front in you're eyesight.

That's just because it's the positioning colour of the F22.
The agency wantet to point out clearly which car is the star of this commercial.
At least it has also got a uniform look.

So when you turn all the nannies off, the car reverts back to "comfort" mode - does that make it harder to drift? With reduced throttle response?

Just curious...sweet videos.

What?

I want more detail on what they allegedly had to do to the cars mechanically, if anything, and how they disabled the stability systems completely. Coding? Fuse pulling? Sensor spoofing?

This is my understanding of the F30 and the M235 - when all nannies are off, the car leaves Sport + and reverts to Comfort.

You can feel it too...
