I've got the US Millworks tow hook bracket and you would not believe how many people bring it up. It's mostly older people who don't understand why someone wouldn't want holes drilled in front bumper.

It makes me laugh every time I hear it.
Since it's the law in some states,I don't see the problem. Even in Florida, where there are no front plates. People who brought their cars down find custom front plates to put on. How come no one complains about the holes in the front and rear bumpers for the PDC? It's just part of the deal.

For me the #1 Option that everyone comments about:

Coral Red Leather Interior
.
.
What was a very hesitant option has become mine as well as my passengers most commented / favorite option. Not just RED but Coral Red on a AW car is just so fitting and a stark difference from the dark cave BLACK interior.

WHAT IS YOUR MOST COMMENTED ON ~ OPTION / FEATURE?
Do you ever watch "Chasing Classic Cars" on the Velocity channel.

Wayne Carini is car expert and hunts down all kinds of cars, buys them, sells them. When he runs across a red leather interior, he salivates.

2- Why is it so loud and sounds like gun fire?

- Because race car...

The manual transmission gear knob is the most talked about feature.
Every girl that gets my in car is surprised to see a modern techie man such as myself still driving manual.

I get two things all the time:

1. Red leather (comments range from douchey to awesome)
2. M perf exhaust

Every so often I get this:

3. So is it a ///M car or not?

I usually get the overall stance/shape of the car then followed up with the front lip and black double slant kidney grills.

People really seem to love the front end of this car, with all of the M Performance glory on it. It really looks like a whole different car from the base fascia.

Aside from that, the next comment in line would be "perfect size".

Mine is Mineral White with Orbit Grey wheels and dark windows. When I show someone my car they say "nice car" or "beautiful". When I open the door they say WOW, red interior, that's so cool!
So Coral Red is #1 for mine.

The Coral Red leather by far gets the most comments. A distant second might be the Estoril Blue paint.

I had to special order my M235. I wanted a 6MT, no nav, the moonroof deleted, but wanted almost all the other options. The dealer thought I was nuts because in their mind, the resale would be terrible. Yeah, I don't care and chances are, the way the car is optioned will actually make it more desirable.

When the car came in, the sales people were gushing over the first 6MT M235 they had ever seen and had no idea that it could be ordered without a moonroof.

I would say Coral Red interior for sure. The more practical answer would be my Bimmertech front-view camera retrofit. It's been super helpful in parking lots, garages, street parking, etc.

I'd say my passengers grabbing onto whatever they can when I punch it going onto the freeway is enough of a compliment. The wood grain interior, surprisingly, gets complimented a lot too.
