The baseiest of F22
My new (to me) oddball F22. This is a custom ordered 2015 228i. It has only the cold weather package, the lighting package, & 18" wheels. That is it. No power seats, no nav, no moon roof, no nothing. I took a fully loaded 3 series for a drive, then decided to take this out because of the cheap price on it. This was more fun for some reason. I like this car. I like it as much as my old 128i. Now feel free to return to the more interesting cars in this thread lol.

I love my one-option 230i w/ just the Track Handling Package. All the sportiest bits, none of the bloat. I'm eager to find a weigh-station to see what weight its actually sitting at. I've seen some websites list the 2er anywhere from 3250 to about 3550 lbs.

Mine's somewhat close. No nav, no power seats, no moonroof. Only M Sport package, cold weather package, backup camera. Oh, and parking distance control, whatever package that's in.

Cool car!
Spec'd just like my m235. No Nav, sunroof, back up cam, or parking sensors. But with al the mperf aesthetic pieces, shifter, and Lsd. I respect the person who ordered it haha.

Thanks guys!
If I missed one item....it's the ambient lighting. I would rather have that and remove iDrive. I liked the old style radio. Shame you can't get it anymore. I always thought it looked classy! |

I prefer my cars with extra bloat these days, but I can appreciate the minimalism of a great car at an awesome price. Sometimes I look back at a great deal I've gotten with as much fondness as the car itself

My car was special ordered also. Had to wait for it to be put together and shipped. It was interesting to follow it's path on the boat it was on.
I ordered mine with only the things that mattered (to me). No sunroof. No Electronic "help me drive because I'm stupid" stuff. No heated seats. The M package was pretty much all I got. |

I wanted that option soooo bad for my 240; sadly, however, no longer available.
I could retrofit, of course, but at that price I'd just go for race chairs. They'd be even lighter (my goal in the first place), and they'd fit me better, too. Maybe when the market snaps all the way back, and I receive approval from the Minister of Finance. Quote:
