While back I saw a post on one of the topics regarding BMW switching to FWD on some models but the uncertainty of our beloved car, well, as this may not be a gurantee I saw this post today and wanted to share. Hope what the guy is saying/what they are reporting is indeed true...

Interesting - according to that article, the F22 coupe production ends October 2020 and the convertible in 2021. That seems like a pretty long production run for the F22, 7-8 years.

That's about right with the LCI. Don't forget 2014 wasn't a full year either.

The rolloff / roll on schedule makes sense too. Coupe year 0, vert year 1, M2 year 2.

Makes sense that way. It's just odd that BMW did some LCI-like updates to the 4er for 2018, which seems odd given that the G20 is coming out a year from now.

The F32 4-series LCI was available from May 2016 in Europe, the G22/23 4-series will likely be launched 1 year after the G20 3-series, seems to be in 2020 from press reports.
