Performance Center Delivery To Florida Route?

Hi All,

I will be taking delivery of my 2014 M235i a week from tomorrow in South Carolina and will be driving down back to Orlando, FL. I am wondering if anyone else has made the trip and has a good route to take. I want to avoid highways but stay on roads on which I can still move and have fun, including some twisty mountain roads. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

I don't know anything about the route...but I'm in Orlando FL too. Seems like there's quite a few 2ers here, but I've yet to see another in person yet.

Come out to a meet. Join the BMW central Florida group on Facebook, meets like once a week.

Are you driving to Orlando or Miami?

Definitely swing through some North Carolina or northern Georgia mountain roads, even if they are out of your way. The Tail of the dragon is obviously legendary but I could recommend a few others that are notable with significantly less traffic.

The only way down is to take I95 or I75 down.. otherwise best route would be A1A which will take forever, I would just go around NC or SC for Tail of Dragon and head back down using the highway.. Nothing much to see in Florida...
