Help with turbo inlet removal Xdrive? or service manual?

I have been stuck for over a week on trying to remove the nut that holds the plastic turbo inlet pipe on so I can install an MST turbo inlet. I am in the process of replacing the intercooler pipes and intercooler after I had a charge pipe fracture at stock boost and 65k miles.

The recommended approach from the bottom with a ratcheting wrench does not work due to the driveline and hoses in the way. I have tried getting a socket on from above with a ujoint but its so tight I cant really turn it. Just wondering if anyone has a solution or advice, failing thing knowing where I could find a factory shop manual that might tell me their process. Thanks
