Just wondering what kind of quotes you guys are getting. My m235 is still in the process of being built and they can't seem to pull up my vin. When i try to do online quote, non of them have the m235 on the list yet.

m235i's only please (Lease)
so far the cheapest quote I've been getting online was around 1200/6months. seems crazy high.

*Lease insurance quotes only please*

Use a VIN from another m235i

There are so many factors...

Credit, garaging location, driving & claim history, chosen coverage, and lastly your age.

Have you looked into eSurance? It's Allstate but minus the brick and mortar. Granted the two people on my policy have perfect driving records and good credit, one of us is 32 and I am 31. For the 2013 328i coupe, 2014 328i sedan, 2013 X1 28i, and 1999 Ford F150, we pay about $120/month for all of the cars. Everything but the truck is full coverage. The three BMWs are on leases. The deductible is $250 I think, though I might have opted for a $0 deductible. Point is, it's low.

Disclaimer: I haven't had to use them yet for a claim, and I've heard mixed things, but so far so good. And I'm saving a ton of money compared to what I was paying through Nationwide.

Might be worth looking into.

I was curious as well as I'm planning to upgrade from a 2008 128i cabrio to the 2015 M235i Cabrio when it comes out in the fall.
I called my Allstate broker and while they don't have the M235i in their system yet for quotes, they figured it would be almost identical to the diff I'd have to pay if I were going to a new 135is Cabrio - and they estimated that it would be an additional $116 per annum (assuming identical coverage).
So, I'm pretty pleased with that.

My insurance is going up $100/year over my current 2007 335. More based on value of the vehicle than anything else.

Perhaps a better question is whether your insurance went up or down and by how much along with what your previous vehicle was. At least then, there is a point of reference.

You need to add in some details... what coverages do you have, what are you deductibles, what discounts are you getting? Do you own your home? Garaging Address? Credit Score? etc.

I have a M235i and 2003 bmw 325i and at 31, I pay under $660 for 6 months.

I started a thread about this last month and was met with a lot of resistance and hostility from people on this forum. Pathetic...

...but anyway I was quoted $750 for 6 months on this car as a lease...huge increase from what I'm currently paying. I think it's because the car is so new they haven't had a chance to make real profiles for it. Definitely gonna be overpaying for insurance on this car for the first year until the carriers properly add it to their systems.
