Hello all. I just ordered my M235i. Can I use my JB4 off of my 2012 N55 and use on the new car? Any help is much appreciated.

No you can't, you need the F series EWG JB4

I had the same question. You can use the harness from your old JB4 but replace the board and save yourself a good chunk of money:

Replacement Board (JB4 EWG) = $75 (after you get your $100 core credit for returning your old board)
F Series OBDII CANbus Interface = $15

Due to the location of the CAN connections (Green/Brown wires), you'll need to buy some wire to extend the length of them. I'd also suggest getting some of the POSI-TAPS to ($5) to make that much easier.

With those two items you can upgrade from your old JB4 to the new version for ~$100 vs. the $529 for a brand new one.

I would just sell the old one on the forum and get an F chassis EWG JB4
