M235i: Going to Dyno my Car, need advice

Howdy,

I have an appointment to dyno my 2105 m235i auto trans this coming monday.

Can any of you point me to the right way to run it?

Which is the 1:1 gear on the auto?

What is the final drive ratio?

Which drive setting should it be on? Comfort, Sport, Sport+, or DSC off?

Use 5th gear - DSC off. Your dyno guy knows the rest.

I believe 6th gear is 1:1 ratio for the 8 speed auto. Anyone know why 6th is not used for dyno rather than 5th?

I believe because it hits the speed limiter in 6th gear.
