Thanks Luminous. I'll do a search.
I guess my French doesn't translate well into English, hence the confusing post/question?

Ok. I see the confusion now. I made a mistake. I meant to say Litres/KM. I'm not perfect.

I got a response from the dealership/BMW Canada re: my original CEL.
"The BMW Canada tech expert got some information back; the BMW fault codes is 120408 and the fault description is Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Control Cut-Off (Bank 1). The BMW Canada tech expert believes this fault was set because the engine control unit (DME) was adapting to the new software installed. The fault will trigger the emission warning lamp and can also trigger a Check Control message. Other than that it will not cause any other problems. And now that the car has had an additional 1,500 KM on it since installation, any engine adaptions would have been performed so it's unlikely this specific CEL will return." I'm satisfied with the response. By the way, for those curious about the Dinan smartphone app, I'd reached out to Dinan earlier today and got this reply: "The DINANTRONICS Dashboard Apps are in the final BETA stages at this point. A few select dealers are utilizing the retail version and essentially BETA testing it in the field for us. We are being very cautious on its release as it’s a new foray for us and we want the base program to be absolutely ironclad before we start releasing a bunch of functionality. The base program is essentially a bypass feature and the ability to change stages. Once that is released and it goes without a hitch for a while additional features will be forthcoming. One of the most recent emergency fixes to the app was the app allowed the end user to change stage while the car was running. The car did not like that and essentially seized on itself. We needed to fix that ASAP. We are having another meeting on it early next week to plan on exactly how the retail rollout will be happening so I will have more information middle of next week or so"
