Favourite Exterior/Interior Combination Colours
So what is your favorite exterior and interior combination colour for your 2series?
Is there anything in particular you enjoy about your colour combination? Last edited by WXdrivefun; 09-08-2019 at 08:12 PM.. |

I love my mineral white exterior with the terra Dakota leather (brown). It's held up so well, and I didn't want the black leather due to the summer heat here in TX (I also think it looks a little boring). That said, I do love those that have the blue exterior (either Estoril or Long Beach) with the oyster Dakota leather, as it's a timeless look in my opinion.

Estoril Blue and Terra is what I have and I haven't looked back.
The only downside is that BMW no longer offers Terra, but instead a slightly darker mocha that I don't find quite as appealing. The upside is that this gives me another reason to hang onto my little friend. It will be five years in March and we are still going strong. |

I love my Estoril and Oyster Dakota combination and get tons of compliments on it. I think a more contrasting and vibrant combination works well on a small sporty car like the 2. Mineral White and Coral Red was my 2nd choice.

Estoril and Black here! In my opinion there is no beating Black interior. I love red interiors on some cars such as jet black or gray. Oyster looks good on some cars as well. Just throwing out some love for black interiors...

My favorite exterior color is Melbourne Red, which is what I chose. I have the black Dakota interior, which is boring, but thankfully the M Performance carbon fiber/alcantara kit was available to spruce it up a bit. Otherwise, I don't really like black interiors and only went with black because of the issue noted above for US cars. Would have liked a full Oyster interior like you have in France. Or maybe even full Cognac with Alpine White exterior. Also wish BMW would offer some type of grey interior as a stock option. Had a Porsche 997 in Basalt Black with Stone Grey leather interior and I was a big fan of that. Everything was Stone Grey including the carpets and floor mats. It was just lovely. BMW has a Silverstone Merino leather option for the F80, which is a nice bright grey color, but I would like to see something a tad darker combined with a black upper dash and black steering wheel. While I'm dreaming, a dark blue exterior color for the M240i would have been awesome as well.

I'd have gone with the Estoril Blue w/ oyster if it looked like yours, but went with the black Dakota instead |

I'm partial to my Mineral White, Coral Red, M Performance dry carbon fiber arrangement. Classic, sporty, and somewhat racy.

Best exterior color: EBII
Best interior color: Coral Red Sure, they don't go together at all. But with my tinted windows you can never seen both colors at the same time so who cares .

I much prefer light color interiors though the contrast of two-tone can look good. I like the combination of oyster leather with the darker sidewalls and headliner. Thinking that if I order my new M240i it will be oyster leather with the fineline wood trim.
Probable exterior color to go with that is mineral gray metallic. I just wish the 230/240 was available with a different grain of leather. That BMW Dakota leather is neither soft nor luxurious. Sitting in some 3ers and 5ers in the dealer showroom with a different leather was night and day. |

Agreed. It also smells like pickles and plastic instead of real leather. Easily my biggest gripe with the entire car purchase would be how my interior smells. Compare it to something with real leather like my old Volvo XC70 and it's quite appalling, really.

My experience is that the leather in this car ages well, perhaps better than others. It has become quite buttery. Patience!
On the other hand, the sensatec in my old 325 was completely impervious, over the 12+ years that I owned it. |

Favorite: Alpine White with a black, non-leather interior.
What I Like About What I Have: that it looks like a jewel after it's been cleaned.

So for the color combo - Estoril over Oyster, since that is what I ordered. But today, I would probably go with whatever the orange color is called over Oyster - wasn't available back then.
