ShockTower, that must've been me you saw! Your MG M235i is the only one I've seen in the wild in Austin. You were driving the opposite direction as me on 2222. I've seen a white 228i here in town, and one M235i in Houston, but that's it. I love having a unique car, let's see how long it lasts...

I've seen 2 other M235i around here, one on the road and one about to be delivered at the dealership (I'm near Houston). Couple of 228i's are around. When I ordered mine in May, the dealer said they were only getting 2 allocations a month for the M235i.

I've seen 3. Couldn't be happier, it seems like 4s grow on trees here in Miami.

I am looking for them here on the roads (Amsterdam region),
but i have only seen one so far .. (A 220 Diesel) Even not all the BMW dealerships in my region have a M235 on display. I have been told by my regular BMW sales rep. most people choose to buy a 3 or 4 series over a 2 Series, because it's just as expensive and looks like more bang for your buck...ehh euro. |

Yeah, not too many of them out there. I guess dealers weren't lying when they said they said they don't get many 2er's.
Anyways, I've seen one M235i in black with red interior, and one 228i, in that nice looking orange they have. That's pretty much it though, since I was really paying attention at least. Which I figure is back when I ordered the car in mid-May.

I've been wondering where the rest are. My EB is the only M235i I've seen in the Hilton Head, SC area. I've seen one EB 228i and another in black just today. That's it. And we have a BMW majority here among cars.
Everyone stares and looks like they're wondering "what the heck is that?" Nice to be rare for now. Saw a white M235i in Columbia, SC though. Anyone here in that area?

I chance it on the no front plate thing too. I just can't bring myself to mar the front-end with such an ugly thing.
I don't park outdoors too often, and when I do, I throw the front plate up on the dash (keep it in the glovebox). Not always guaranteed to keep those pesky meter people at bay, but it doesn't hurt. |

I've seen an AW 228i with M-Sport, a white 228i which seemed modified with horrible aesthetic add ons, an MG 228i base or sport line, and a GS M235i seen twice on my morning commute, in fact I saw it today and reminded me of this thread, took a picture and kind of stalked him as I did the first time.

I hadn't seen any for the past couple of months I've owned mine. But just this week I saw two in my neighbourhood (Brooklyn). It's nice to see them about. I feel like I should give them a thumbs up or something, but I'm not sure it's always going to be a drivers tool and may just end up being a yummy mummy mobile..
