Sorry for the n00b question, but where do you get E85?
If you have a Krogers or Meijers most of those sell E85. I get mine T Krogers

I'm going to chime in here as I still don't understand why so many are running E85 blends over Premium 93 Octane. I've read that Ethanol’s true octane value is in the range of 94-96 (R+M)/2.

1-3 Octane makes that much difference? If it does, why not just run pure E85 and call it a day? Something with the turbo's?

I'm ready to learn something new today...

Someone correct me if im wrong but It takes roughly 30% more E85 to equal gasoline part for part which requires more volume of fuel in part raising the demand of the fuel system. The love for E85 comes from a cooler burn and higher octane raising the threshold for detonation and ultimately allowing higher boost levels.

Grab a 55 gallon drum and keep it in your garage. Not sure how long it keeps but might be doable..

BMS recommends a downpipe with their map 2, but some cars can still do it without one as long as it has good gas.

post a log.
